About Me
After extensive professional training including two masters degrees, a medical degree from Rutgers, Georgetown University alum for family medicine specialty and University Of Maryland alum for preventive medicine specialty, I can say that I have been trained by the best. I have earned numerous awards including “Emerging Leader in Family Medicine”, the “New Faculty Scholars Award”, and have published in peer reviewed journals. After starting my first leadership role as the medical director of Health Care for the Homeless in Baltimore County, Maryland, I felt humbled to begin the journey of being a physician.
After several clinical positions, a multiple 14 hour shifts in the urgent care setting, I found myself feeling alienated from my family & frequently falling asleep driving home from work. As a healer, I had become a menace to society. I was burning out and knew the time had come to pivot and make a significant change in the trajectory of my career. I had to heal myself so that I could be alive to save others.
Because of this mindset shift, I have published my first book, and now coaching individuals to identify the signs and symptoms of dis-ease while promoting wellness. Living in my purpose has allowed me to coach women like me on how to use their expertise to remain powerful in the workforce, while putting themselves first, their families second and career last! You deserve to thrive and live a purpose-driven life.
